
Centrica - On- and Off-shore Gas Production: High Performing Teams
In partnership with FidesOak Ltd, we supported Centrica in delivering a leadership and team development programme across its onshore and offshore operations. Led by our founder, Katy Eckert-Turnbull, we coordinated a team of coaches to deliver Lumina Spark-based leadership coaching, team workshops, and short learning sprints. These interventions focused on building high-performing teams, increasing psychological safety, improving health and safety engagement, and strengthening collaboration across the business.

🧭 Challenge
Centrica, a major gas production company operating both onshore and offshore, sought to strengthen leadership effectiveness and team collaboration across its operations. While the organisation had strong technical competence, it faced several people-focused challenges:
Inconsistent team performance and limited cross-team cohesion
A need to enhance psychological safety and embed better HSE practices into everyday behaviours
Varied levels of leadership capability, particularly around communication, coaching, and collaborative problem-solving
A desire to move beyond compliance toward a culture of learning and continuous improvement
💡 Solution
In partnership with FidesOak Ltd, we supported the delivery of a comprehensive leadership and team development programme aimed at building high-performing teams and strengthening leadership across the organisation.
The programme was designed and coordinated with the involvement of our founder, Katy Eckert-Turnbull, who provided strategic oversight and coaching support to a network of facilitators and coaches. Her role ensured a consistent delivery standard, integration of insights across delivery sites, and alignment with Centrica’s values and performance goals.
Programme Components:
Leadership Development Using Lumina Spark: Participants engaged in deep personal profiling and reflection using the Lumina Spark psychometric tool, which supported greater self-awareness, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
